La Forêt Bridge

The La Forêt Bridge, in Cesson, France is a unique bridge that has stood strong since its construction in the 1750s. The bridge is so unique that it is actually the only bridge of its type in France. At just over 40 meters long and 13 meters wide the bridge has a single curved arch and is constructed mostly of wood with the stone abutment and pillars. The bridge was made a historical monument in 1982, and it stands as a prime example of the country's wooden bridges and their historical importance. The bridge is a popular location for walkers, both for its stunning design and spectacular views of the countryside, as well as its rich history.
