Kerlingarfjoll Hot springs

Kerlingarfjoll Hot Springs is Iceland's largest highland volcanic caldera, located between Lake Myvatn and Langjokull Glacier. This geothermal area is a paradise for adventurers with many spectacular colors, hot springs, and impressive mountains to explore. You can explore its lava formations and vibrant green moss, and visit the Landmannagja rift valley. Hiking trails, rock formations, and lava fields make the area a great place to explore and to just take in some beautiful natural landscapes. Be sure to take a dip in the hot springs or enjoy the local eateries and Icelandic food during your stay. You can also stay overnight and take in the beautiful astronomical view of bright stars in the night sky but be aware that there can be strong winds in the area.
