
Porta Westfalica, located in Germany near the River Weser, is home to the Industrial buildings. This fascinating open-air museum in a former mill area is an experience like no other. The attentive visitor will find a unique combination of industrial buildings from different eras. The canals of the century-old mill, the classical industrial buildings from the early 20th century and a spacious machine hall from the 1950s are typical of this old industrial area. Throughout the mill area, there are various displays, such as a machine park at the top of the complex and the paddle steamer Weser at the bottom.
