Holtenauer Reede is located at the eastern edge of Kiel, Germany, along the Kiel Fjord and is a popular spot for recreation and leisure activities. Holtenauer Reede has grassy meadows split in an elevated flat park and low-lying marsh area for a great walking experience and photo opportunity. On the parkland, there is a playground, a beach park and a harbor with a couple of small cafes, as well as a restaurant. Thanks to the unobstructed view, the spot is great for viewing the sailboats on the Baltic Sea, as well as the cruise ships at the ferry terminal.
