Hamburgo's Walls

Hamburg's Walls and Alma Wartenberg Platz is a popular tourist attraction in the city, located in the historic city center. The Walls consist of a fort built in the 13th century in defense of the city, and were fortified later in the 15th century. The walls are now a city park and are the remains of fortified walls and gates, of the original defenses from medieval times. Inside the park, you can see historic remains from the city's past, including cannons and towers, as well as some modern features, including a restaurant and an outdoor theatre. Alma Wartenberg Platz, just next to the Walls, is also a great spot to visit and explore. The square is a lively cultural hub, with diverse shops, cafes, galleries, and other attractions. On weekends and during special events, you'll find food stalls, live music, and more.
