Galata Tower

Galata Tower is a historic medieval stone tower located in Istanbul, Türkiye. Standing at the height of 61 meters, it has panoramic views of the city and the Bosphorus. Galata Tower was constructed in 1348 as a watchtower by the Genoese colonists and is one of the oldest structures in Istanbul. The top of the converted tower has an observation deck with a terrace and cafe. It is also home to a restaurant, cafe and bar. It is also open for regular guided tours. The Galata Tower provides an invaluable insight into the history and development of Istanbul, and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city.
