Embalse de Paso Nuevo and Presa de Senarta are twin reservoirs in the province of Huesca, Spain. Embalse de Paso Nuevo is located in the municipality of Castanesa and Presa de Senarta is situated in the municipality of Senarta. Both reservoirs are connected to the river Gállego, which also feeds them water from a spectacular 400m-high waterfall. The two reservoirs offer stunning views of Huesca's beautiful landscape and provide a great place to practice water-related activities such as fishing, canoeing, sailing, and swimming. In addition, Embalse de Paso Nuevo and Presa de Senarta are surrounded by dense forests, which are perfect for hiking, birdwatching and nature photography. Both sites offer easy access and are popular tourist destinations, making them a great place to spend a day outdoors.
