📍 Från Via Gaetano de Castillia, Italy
Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) and Via Gaetano de Castillia are both unique attractions located in Milano, Italy. Bosco Verticale features two residential towers - towers of life - that are covered with over 900 trees and other vegetation. The purpose of the vertical forest is to try to cool the city, reduce pollution, and offset Co2 emissions, while providing public green space and habitats for birds on the buildings’ balconies. Via Gaetano de Castillia is a special street, featuring multi-colored pavingstones that spell out the word 'MILAN'. It is located in Bosco Verticale and is an interesting optical illusion from certain angles and provides a great photo opportunity. Both of these attractions are popular spots for tourists to visit, and nearby Milan Cathedral is a must-see.
