Blau Lake, in Kandergrund, Switzerland is a little-known gem of a spot. It is a stunning turquoise-blue alpine lake surrounded by a lush, green backdrop of mountains and fields. The views are spectacular and make an amazing setting for some beautiful photographs. It is an ideal spot for swimming, canoeing, fishing and relaxing. The environment is pristine and its many pristine benches make an ideal stop for picnics and a break in nature. It can be quite chilly in the colder months, but it provides a stunning scenic view no matter the season. A hiking trail along the shore of the lake with wooden staircases for access to enjoy the best views is definitely recommended!
