Aqueduct of Segovia

The Aqueduct of Segovia is a remarkable piece of engineering in Spain, and a must-see for travelers and photographers. Dating back to the first century AD, the two-level structure stands almost 30 metres high, stretching over 830 metres and comprising 166 arches. Boasting a stunning blend of Roman and Moorish architectural elements, the Aqueduct is believed to have been carried to Spain by the Romans and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
