Piazza Carlina - Italy
Piazza Carlina is a beautiful city square that lies in the heart of Torino, Italy. Located between Via Garibaldi, Via Palazzo di Città, and Via San Francesco da Paola, it is bordered by many of the city's churches. The piazza has an interesting feature called a “buchetto”, a large marble bowl which stands in the center of the square. The statue of Carlo II of Savoy, which rises majestically over the piazza, is a real highlight. The piazza also has a beautiful fountain as well as a large granite stairway leading to the street above.
