It also includes a motion simulator, a planetarium, and exhibitions about the history of flight and America’s space program. Visitors can view the exhibition halls, explore a 4D theater and an observatory, and take part in hands-on activities and interactive displays. The museum’s Stephen F. Udvar-Hazy Center is located near the Dulles International Airport and features hundreds of large-scale aircraft including the Space Shuttle Discovery.
