Sirince is a beautiful, small village located in the Izmir Province of Turkey, about 10 km from it's city center. It's known for it's cool summer climate, meticulously preserved natural beauty and superb local wine. Historically a Greek Orthodox village, the charming cobblestone streets are home to artisans, wineries and cafes. There are also lovely whitewashed houses, colorful doors and gardens, that create a picturesque atmosphere. Finally, Sirince is home to the Saint John the Baptist Church, the only remaining historical monument from biblical times in the area, which is a must-see for history and culture lovers.
