Minden is a small town located in the east of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The town is situated in a historically important region known as Westphalia, famed for its rich cultural heritage and vast nature reserves. The highlight of the town is the impressive Minden Cathedral, constructed in the Romanesque style in the 11th century.
