Church of the Annunciation of Our Lady - Malta
The Church of the Annunciation of Our Lady is an impressive 16th century Catholic church located in the silent city of Mdina, Malta. Built upon the highest point of the city, the church dates back to 1575 when it was built by Francesco Lacha Gucci. The baroque style church features a 25 meter dome, two bell towers, and a housing of San Pawl's painting over the main entrance. Inside, the church proudly displays a large organ, and it famous High Altar. During the day, the church is open to the public, allowing visitors to wander through the grand halls and marvel at the incredible architecture and intricate designs of this stunning building.
