Castillo de Casillas de Flores is a Moorish castle located in the town of Casillas de Flores in the province of Ciudad Real, about 158 miles south of Madrid. The castle is most notable for its unique architecture which is said to have been constructed in 1583. Built of lime and sandstone, the castle has four towers, two of which are round and two of them square, each with pointed battlements; and a balcony with a unique stairwell. The tower also has a cistern for rainwater storage. Visitors to the castle can explore its grounds as well as a small museum which is open limited hours.
