Umweltbundesamt

The Umweltbundesamt (UBA) is the Federal Environment Agency of Germany headquartered in Dessau-Roßlau. It is an independent federal authority responsible for advising the German government on environmental protection and the implementation of environmental law. It was founded in the 1970s, and since then has stood at the forefront of Germany’s conservation efforts.
