Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located in Moskva, Russia near the Kremlin wall with the Alexander Garden. It is a memorial to the Soviet soldiers who died during World War II. The memorial features an Eternal Flame and a bronze soldier that stands guard over the eternal flame in silent tribute to the brave men and women who died fighting the enemy. Visitors of the memorial usually lay bright red carnations in tribute to the unknown soldiers to honor them, and it is also common to hear the national anthem and see folk dancing, especially on special days. Photography is allowed, both inside and outside the memorial, where visitors can take pictures of the Eternal Flame and bronze soldier as a reminder of their courage and sacrifice.
