Tioga Peak

Tioga Peak is the highest peak in Yosemite National Park, located in Lee Vining, California. It is accessible via the Tioga Pass Road. From the summit, visitors can enjoy incredible views of the surrounding area including Mono Lake and the High Sierra. The area is known for its extremely rugged terrain and its abundance of granite crags and spires. A variety of trails, from easy walks to steep climbs, offer a chance to explore the area. Due to its elevation, Tioga Peak is often snow-capped even in the peak of summer. During the winter, the giant snowdrifts can reach the summit and make for spectacular winter views.
