Maligne Canyon

Maligne Canyon is a deep, narrow gorge located in Jasper, Canada. It is carved out of limestone by the Maligne River, forming a series of impressive waterfalls, rapids, and crystal clear pools. The canyon itself is over 50 meters deep, and up to 300 meters wide at its widest point. It is a popular destination for hikers and photographers, with its dramatic scenery, lush vegetation, and unique rock formations. The trailhead is easily accessible from the nearby town of Jasper, and the canyon can be explored in its entirety via a 3.7-kilometer loop trail. However, caution should be exercised as some sections of the trail can be slippery and steep.
