Isola della Bocca Lighthouse

Located in the port of Olbia, Piazza della Bocca della Verita is a popular destination for travelers and photographers. The Isola della Bocca Lighthouse is an impressive monument that stands just below the piazza entrance, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. The lighthouse was built in 1874, and was originally a beacon to help boats navigate the narrow channel that connects Olbia to the Gulf of Costa Smeralda. It is accessible by a short footbridge and visitors are welcome to take a closer look. At night, the lighthouse lighting up the channel makes for a stunning view.
