Farol de Cabo Polonio

Cabo Polonio is a small fishing village located in the Atlantic Ocean about halfway between the cities of La Paloma and Cabo Polonio in Rocha, Uruguay. A unique destination with a unique atmosphere, Cabo Polonio has become an increasingly popular destination for both travelers and photographers looking for a remote and off-the-beaten-path spot to explore. The highlight of the village is the Farol de Cabo Polonio, a grand lighthouse built in the late nineteenth century and still operational today.
