Eiffel Tower

Situated on the Champ de Mars in Paris, the iconic Eiffel Tower stands 324 metres tall. Constructed in 1889 for the World's Fair, it was initially met with strong opposition from citizens and artists. Today, it is one of the most visited monuments in the world. It has become a symbol of Paris and of France, and is a popular subject in photography. With a few exceptions, the tower is open to visitors every day of the year. There are three observation decks with breathtaking views of the city, and its top deck is the highest public observation deck in the European Union. Inside the tower is a champagne bar, two restaurants, and a gift shop. Climbing the stairs to the second level is an experience all in itself and must not be missed. To reach the top level, you will have to hop on a lift. Every evening, the Eiffel Tower is lit up in a golden light and is an incredibly beautiful sight.
