Eibsee is a stunning lake located near Grainau, Germany in the Bavarian Alps. Created by a glacier over 10,000 years ago, the lake is surrounded by beautiful Alpine peaks that rise up from the water's edge. It is a popular tourist attraction in the area, especially in the summer months when temperatures are pleasant and the sun glints off the surface. Activities such as hiking and cycling are popular around the lake, and a cable car takes visitors from the edge of the lake up to the Zugspitze peak, Germany's highest mountain.
