Chicago Board of Trade is one of the most iconic buildings in Chicago and a popular landmark for travelers and photographers. Built in the late 19th Century, what had started as the grain exchange of the city eventually grew into the global financial center it is today. The building is famous for its terracotta façade, marble columns and its symmetrical form. The entrance is also flanked by two pairs of bronze statues that depict Ceres, the goddess of agriculture. The building is also home to a number of famous trading floors, which are famously known for the fast-paced trading.
