Catedrala Mitropolitana Sibiu

Catedrala Mitropolitana Sibiu is a stunning Baroque style cathedral located in the historic Roman city of Sibiu in Romania. Built between 1726 and 1733, it is now a popular tourist destination and a key landmark of the city. This Unesco World Heritage Site is over 69 m long and remarkably well preserved. Inside, visitors will be able to admire the frescoes, and the magnificent historic organ of 1907, which is still in use. Every year, various religious, artistic and cultural events are held here, such as the Orthodox Music Festival. The nearby bell tower offers beautiful panoramics views of the city. After visiting, visitors can walk through the Haller Park, located just behind the cathedral, to admire more of the local scenery.
