Camino de Garcibuey a Tamames

Camino de Garcibuey a Tamames is a spectacular 17 km hike located in the San Miguel del Robledo municipality of Spain. It is a challenging, yet rewarding experience and runs through some of the most gorgeous landscapes of Castilla y Leon. The journey starts in Garcibuey and takes visitors all the way to Tamames, via monumental oak forests, canyons, valleys, ravines, and rolling fields of vibrant grasses and wildflowers. Wildlife and bird-life, including chamois and golden eagles, can also be observed. Along the way, visit the 12th-century church of San Miguel del Robledo and take in lovely views of the city from the nearby Cerro de los Caballos. Make sure to remember to pack plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen, as it can get quite hot in the summer.
