Zugspitze

Zugspitze is the highest mountain in Germany, standing tall at 2,962 meters (9,718 feet) above sea level. Located in the Bavarian Alps along the Austrian border, it is a popular spot for hikers and skiers looking to enjoy the scenery with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

On the summit of the mountain is a spectacular cable car, the Zugspitze-Bahn, which ascends leisurely to the peak station, offering visitors a wonderful journey across the mountain peaks. The nearby ski resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a great spot for winter sports, and in summer you can explore the many huts which are located in the surrounding area.
