Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge

The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the United States, connecting Staten Island and Brooklyn in New York City across the Narrows. It is named after the explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, who was the first European to enter the New York Harbor and sail into the upper bay.
