Tour Vauban

Tour Vauban, located in the coastal town of Camaret-sur-Mer, France, is an incredible spot for travelers and photographers alike. In the heart of the harbor lies a centuries old military fort created by renowned French military architect Sebastien Vauban. This impressive structure has withstood wars and countless storms to become a major tourist destination in the region. Visitors can explore the entire fortification, including the five bastions, four forts, three powder magazines, and officers' quarters. The highest point of the fort offers panoramic views of the rugged coastline and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. From up there, visitors can also spot nearby Îlet des trois moulins, an islet containing a disused mill.
