Torpedo Wharf

Torpedo Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge are two of San Francisco's most iconic destinations. Torpedo Wharf, located on the Marina Green, was once a military service center, but now provides a stunning view of the city skyline. From here you can also capture views of the Golden Gate Bridge, spanning the entrance between the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The two span cantilever bridge features distinctive International Orange paint and offers beautiful sweeping views of the water below. At roughly 9,000 feet in length, it's the longest suspension bridge in the world. Just nearby, the Golden Gate Bridge Pavillion houses an indoor museum, which offers educational exhibits and historical information about the structure. If you are headed out to the Golden Gate Bridge, be sure to bring a jacket, as temperatures along the path can be quite chilly.
