Pyramidenkogel

Pyramidenkogel is an iconic lookout tower situated at an elevation of 237 meters, in the town of Höhe, in the Austrian state of Carinthia. The concrete tower was built in the 1960s and is the highest structure in Carinthia. It stands atop a lush hill, offering panoramic views of the valley. The tower is accessible from the nearby parking lot by an elevator, from where visitors can access the viewing platform. On a clear day, you can see as far as Italy and Slovenia. There is an adjacent picnic area and numerous hiking and mountain biking trails around the area, that offer spectacular views at every bend. Be sure to carry a pair of binoculars with you to get a real bird's eye view of the gorgeous landscape!
