Bishan Park is a public park located in the central region of Singapore, at the junction of Bishan Road and Marymount Road. The park is designed to bring together nature and urban life, as can be seen in the man-made and natural ecosystems positioned together. It features a 2.6-kilometre long main loop which serves as a great spot for leisurely strolls, jogging, and cycling. The park also offers plenty of facilities for recreational activities including jogging trails, a skating park, an amphitheatre and a designated fishing corner for avid anglers. Well-known landmarks located within Bishan Park include the ground-breaking “Tree of Life” sculpture and a Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park Biodiversity Pond which displays an array of wetland plants, aquatic species and fauna. A large hill within the park also offers visitors breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Bishan Park is a great way to spend a day outdoors and escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
