La Seine Musicale

La Seine Musicale is an iconic concert venue, cultural and artistic centre, and an architectural landmark located on the Seine river in the French commune of Sèvres, on the outskirts of Paris. The iconic edifice was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel and is split into two distinct parts, an auditorium with seating for up to 800 people, and a central hall of 2,000m2. The concert hall features an array of performances by various bands and solo artists, ranging from classical music to contemporary and indie styles. The centre also has a variety of restaurants, galleries, shops, and cafes. La Seine Musicale's academic activities are focused on educating young people about the history and culture of the region and its people.
