Faro de Punta de Sa Creu

Faro de Punta de Sa Creu is an iconic lighthouse in the north of Mallorcan town Sóller. It has a very typical Mediterranean appearance and is located on a rocky promontory. It was constructed in 1861 from stone and features a 19 meter tall tower. The lighthouse shows the path of the commercial ships leaving the port of Sóller and is a very popular spot for photographers due to its stunning views and historic architecture. It is free to visit and the best way to get there is to take the local bus from Sóller to the lighthouse. There is also a stunning beach behind it, ideal for a relaxing swim!
