Croix du Mont-Royal

Croix du Mont-Royal is a hilltop city park with panoramic views of Montreal’s skyline. The highlight of the park is the 103-ft tall cross installed on the summit in 1924. Nestled within the 607 acres of Mount Royal Park, the park offers some spectacular photo opportunities. One of the best is from Marc de Montigny Street, lined by trees in full bloom - making for an excellent background for photos overlooking downtown Montreal. There are also walking trails, playing fields, and picnic areas, making it a great place to take families or groups of friends. Just remember to bring a jacket, as the park is known to experience high winds and chilly temperatures due to its altitude.
