Colle di Castelluccio

Colle di Castelluccio is an incredible location situated in the Sibillini Mountains of central Italy. Located in the small town of Norcia, this escarpment offers breathtaking views of the surrounding highlands from an altitude of 1414m. With the deep valleys and jagged ridge lines, it is the perfect spot for adventure seekers and breathtaking photography opportunities. During the most intense seasons, the flat summit erupts in wildflowers, providing a luscious canvas for landscape imagery. The geology of the area is also fascinating, revealing centuries of geological activity with fast moving water features and eroded limestone formations creating an ever-changing landscape. There is a mountaineering path beginning at the summit, leading down to the town of Norcia, providing ample opportunity to explore the stunning scenery and snap incredible photos.
