Cascada Las Hamacas

Cascada Las Hamacas is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Mexico. Located near the town of Las Hamacas in the state of Tamaulipas, it is a favorite amongst locals and tourists alike. Visitors can hike to the waterfall or take in the stunning beauty from the road side. The waterfall is made up of thousands of cascading streams of crystal clear water, falling from a height of about 30 metres. With greenery at its backdrop, it creates a surreal experience for anyone who visits it. Swimming here is forbidden, as it is also a breeding ground for various species of fish and turtles.
