Abbazia di Montmajour

Abbazia di Montmajour is an ancient monastic establishment in Arles, France. Founded in the 8th century, it was one of the most important centers of religious and cultural life in the region. Built in the Romanesque style, the abbey includes a cloister, two-story refectory, church, and two precincts, one at the entrance and one to the west of the building. Inside the abbey, visitors can explore some of the most inspiring medieval architecture in the area.
