The Grand Trianon & King's Garden is a must-see when visiting Versailles in France. Intended as a retreat from the main palace of Versailles, the Grand Trianon was built in the late 17th century as a pleasure palace. The garden follows its example as a sumptuous area of delight. Softly undulating hills, brooks, and various kitchen and flower gardens in a variety of designs make up this outstanding 100 hectare area.
