Maymont Japanese Garden

The Maymont Japanese Garden is situated in Richmond, Virginia in the United States. It first opened in 1975 as part of the estate of James and Sallie Dooley. The garden has been carefully constructed to recreate a typical Japanese garden complete with bridges, a koi pond, a true Japanese tea house, a pagoda, and a tea garden where traditional tea ceremonies are regularly held.
