The panoramic view of the idyllic Mauritian Sea and Landscape from the Chamarel View Point can be best appreciated while travelling along the western coast of Mauritius. The view envelops the rolling hills, verdant green forests, the sparkling turquoise waters, the meandering rivers and small villages dotting the countryside in the south. There is a park restaurant from where one can enjoy an almost 360 degree view of the grandiose landscape. Despite being one of the most populated areas in the country, the surroundings of the Chamarel View Point remain serene and peaceful. The contrast between the serene forests, blue waters and the long stretches of white sand makes for photographic vistas. The view truly has to be seen in order to be believed!
