It also offers direct access to the Hoboken ferry terminal, and is one of the most popular places for family days out, picnics, and sightseeing. There is a park playground, a dog park, a beach and even a few small shops and restaurants. The park is also a great spot for birdwatching, as there are several species of birds from the area. The boardwalk connects the park to the rest of Hoboken and is a great place for an evening stroll.
