Gimmelwald's houses

Gimmelwald's Houses is one of Switzerland's most iconic towns, located in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Set in the Lauterbrunnen Valley near the picturesque village of Murren, Gimmelwald is a postcard-perfect alpine escapes. Once populated by mostly farmers and cheesemakers, the tiny village’s 17th century wooden huts decked with colourful multicultural flags are some of the most photographed spots in Switzerland.
