The Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of Alcalá de Henares is a place of knowledge and culture. It is a symbolic building that was built between 1540 and 1554 and worked as a humanistic college located in the historic center of Alcalá de Henares. It continues to maintain the original 16th-century facade and some of its interior elements. It is the only Universidad Complutense surviving from the Humanistic Moment of Spanish Renaissance, and is part of the most important site in Alcalá de Henares declared World Heritage by the UNESCO.
