Eltz Castle is a stunning German castle situated between Koblenz and Trier. It is one of the few castles in Germany which has not been destroyed during any wars and is almost completely preserved. The interior of the castle is beautifully furnished and decorated. One of the most remarkable features of the castle is the Eltz ravine which runs along the back of the fortress and which gives it a unique atmosphere. The castle is open for visitors from April to October, during which time guided tours are available. You can also explore the gardens and admire the beautiful surroundings of the castle. There are restaurants and cafés near the castle. Admission to visit the castle starts from 8 EUR.
