Vlachernon church

Vlacherno Church, in Kerkira, Greece, is an iconic symbol of the island. Built in the 17th century and nestled among a grove of olive trees, it is a lovely country church with picturesque whitewashed stone walls and a tiled roof. Inside, you'll find a well-preserved fresco painted by 16th century painter Theodoros Poulakis. The bell tower is an example of Ionian architecture and features some of the island's flagstone paving.
