St Sylvester's Church

This beautiful 10th century Church of St Sylvester's is located in Malahide, Dublin, Ireland. The Church stands tall surrounded by an old graveyard. The gothic architecture and circular spire were worthy of admiration for such an early period. Inside the church there are several high and ornate windows, an impressive stained glass window, a grand altar and several exquisite plaques on the walls.

The church, while still used by modern religious services, is also known and appreciated as a stunning piece of history. Once upon a time it served as the final resting place of some of the nation's notable figures, including Sir Henry Sydney and Sir Patrick Barnewall. The Church of St Sylvester's is one of the oldest and most historical sites in Ireland and is certainly worth a visit for anyone interested in exploring the rich heritage of Ireland.
