Slieve League

The Slieve League and Cliffs are some of the highest and most magnificent sea cliffs in Europe and are located in Carrickmacafferty, Ireland. The cliffs rise to a staggering 600 meters (2,000 ft) above the Atlantic Ocean, three times the height of the Cliffs of Moher. The picturesque views of the Donegal Bay and the Blue Stack Mountains are breathtaking. Walking trails are available, offering travelers the chance to hike up and down the cliffs. The Trails of the Ancients is a popular path and one of the most beautiful hikes in Ireland, which starts from Malin Beg Bay and then rises up the mountain for stunning views of the ocean, coast and islands below. There's also a cross at the top, known as 'The Cross of the Covenant'. Guests can also come for a drive by the Slieve League cliffs, for fantastic and panoramic views of the sea.
