Quail Springs Trail

Quail Springs Trail, located in San Bernardino County, United States, is a 5-mile out and back trail that starts at the Black Ord Ridge Trailhead. This trail offers great views of the surrounding area, along with plenty of patches of colorful wildflowers that you can photograph. Quail Springs Trail is perfect for a day trip, as it offers spectacular views from the ridge that overlooks Loma Linda, San Bernardino, Redlands, and Orange County. Since it's less than an hour's drive from downtown Los Angeles, it's also perfect for a weekend getaway. The trail ranges from easy to moderate, with a 400-foot elevation gain. Along the trail, you'll likely spot some wild birds, like quails, along with snakes and lizards. You can also expect some stunning views of the imposing San Gorgonio Mountain Range.
